Lake House Retreat

This is one of Kelly’s projects where she had the advantage of working with the clients on the space planning before an architect became involved. The clients wanted a home where their three grown children could bring their families together every summer for family get-togethers yet have private spaces. There are six bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and the adult suites all have direct access to the outdoors. A large kitchen with multiple adjacent dining areas and an open plan allow for entertaining up to 50 people at a time. Kelly worked with the client to select all of the interior and exterior finishes, the lighting, furnishings and decor throughout while using what she could from their previous homes.
